Short Circuit (Short)

A short circuit is a failure condition in an electrical circuit where there is a path from one lead to another that directly connects the leads, bypassing the intended path. In general a short circuit should blow the fuse or circuit breaker in that circuit bat can also simply cause odd behaviour in the device or circuit.
