Discharge Rate

The current at which a battery is discharged. The current can be expressed in ampere-hours, but for lead-acid batteries it is usually normalized to the rated capacity (C), and expressed as Cx/t, where 'x' is the hour rate and 't' is the specified discharge time, usually in hours.
